Quality Representation with Personal Attention and Dedication

Our Philosophy

At Musick Law Office, we believe every client deserves quality representation with experienced legal counsel. Whether facing a criminal, parole, juvenile, or family matter, quality representation requires personal attention and dedication.

The Houston trial lawyers at Musick Law Office understand that quality representation begins with a thorough and intensive consultation between the client and the attorney. Often, it can be difficult to conduct such an interview, maintain a strict attorney-client privilege, and gather the necessary information via telephone or electronic means; therefore, we highly recommend personal consultations in our office. For those comfortable with technology, we also offer video consultations. To schedule a consultation with one of our trial lawyers, please contact Musick Law Office.

More than 25 Years Experience as Trial Lawyers, Fighting for Our Clients

Houston Criminal Defense Lawyers & Family Law Attorneys

The Houston criminal defense lawyers at Musick Law Office have successfully prosecuted and defended criminal and juvenile cases throughout Texas while still maintaining a growing family law practice. Our trial lawyers stay current of ever-changing practices and procedures in the law by participating in continuing education courses and various legal organizations. Because we provide personal attention and quality representation to every client, we cautiously limit the number of cases we accept. We also strive to maintain competitive fees which are based upon the type of case, the issues involved, and the experience of the particular Houston trial lawyer handling the matter.

Trial Lawyers Work as Team

Although a particular lawyer will be assigned to each case, our lawyers work together as a team to provide the best possible legal representation in each and every case. Sometimes the best legal representation will include the association of private investigators, experts, and other professionals when necessary. At Musick Law Office, we maintain close working relationships with many investigators and experts. Because we value our clients and strive to provide quality experienced representation, both JoAnne Musick and Earl Musick take an active role in all cases.

Respected, Dedicated & Experienced Trial Lawyers at Reasonable Cost

Throughout their careers, JoAnne Musick and Earl Musick have gained the respect of judges, prosecutors, other criminal defense lawyers, and the citizens of Harris County because of their experience, integrity, personal attention, and dedication. Because experience matters, our associates are well versed in the areas of criminal law, juvenile law, parole law, family law, divorce, child support, and child custody matters. Combining the talents and experience of our lawyers, we provide each client with personal quality representation and legal advice at a reasonable cost.

JoAnne M. Musick is a two-time former Harris County Prosecutor having served in county courts, juvenile courts, and district courts as a trial lawyer, chief prosecutor, public integrity prosecutor, division chief, and bureau chief. JoAnne served under former District Attorney Johnny Holmes and then returned in a leadership role under District Attorney Kim Ogg. JoAnne is Board Certified in both Criminal Law and Juvenile Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. As an experienced trial lawyer, JoAnne has tried numerous criminal and juvenile trials with an outstanding success rate, including the most serious of criminal offenses. JoAnne is also the only defense attorney to have been twice elected as president of the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association.

Earl D. Musick is a former Harris County Prosecutor and an honorably retired Houston Police Lieutenant. As a prosecutor, Earl served in county courts, juvenile courts, and district courts as a trial lawyer, handling many criminal and juvenile trials with excellent success. As a former police officer, Earl has a unique insight into criminal law and is able to utilize that experience in the criminal defense of his clients.
